Legal Experience:
Jamie began her legal career in September 2024 as a Judicial Law Clerk to Magistrate Ronika J. Sumlin in the Domestic Relations Division of the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. In this role, she gained experience with divorce proceedings, parental responsibilities and parenting time, and child support matters. She is also a certified Maryland Child Representative.

Jamie was admitted to the Maryland Bar in December 2024 and the Illinois Bar in July 2025.
Educational/Personal Background:
Jamie graduated magna cum laude from Muhlenberg College in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and certification as a 7th–12th grade English teacher. That same year, she was awarded a Fulbright grant to teach English in Spain. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law in 2024, where she received the Public Interest Law Award. During law school, Jamie developed strong client-advocacy skills as a Rule 19-220 student attorney in the Youth, Education, and Justice Clinic, representing high school students in the special-education process.
